Abilities in Deckbound Heroes use a variety of keywords to describe how the game plays. Glossary keywords are available on your cards in the deck builder, as well as on the ability panel in game. Click on the underlined words to see the related glossary term.

Take ownership of a vacant or opponent-owned outpost. Does current health + maximum health in damage. Resets cooldowns.

Reduce the health (and durability if applicable) of an outpost or player.
Destroy an outpost. Can be resurrected.
Outposts are destroyed when their durability reaches 0. Destroyed outposts can be resurrected.
Durability state of an outpost between healthy and critical.
Reduce the health (and durability if applicable) of an outpost or player. Heal the caster by the total damage done.
Outposts are destroyed when their durability reaches 0. Each outpost has defined ranges for the durability states healthy, distressed and critical.

Increase the health of an outpost or player (to no more than its maximum value).
Players lose a round when their health reaches 0. If both players reach 0 health at the same time, the player who caused the reduction in health loses. Vacant outposts are occupied when their health reaches 0. Occupied outposts are vacated when their health reaches 0.

Increase a value (e.g. health or durability). Not limited by a maximum.
Increase the durability of an outpost (to no more than its maximum value).
Remove the ownership of an opponent-owned outpost. Does current health in damage.
